Thought for this week of 90+days. Homeowners put the sprinklers right next to the road, and then list those roads here for us to plan our routes.

Also, who has the cheapest ice-cream stand in town?

It's better (and worse) if you don't have A/C.

Sure, you have to suffer through the heat of the day, but the body adjusts somewhat.

O.k., I'm a wimp. I took the bus instead of riding to work this morning. My excuse is that it's so freaking hot that I barely slept last night. And I'm sorry, but I'm just not doing a 15+ mile ride home when the dewpoint is roughly 75.

If somebody comes up with the sprinkler route to my house, I'm all in. Maybe we can get the city to set up fire hoses on the Greenway and the Cedar Lake trail.

I see a guy every day on my commute to and from work that is riding studs. At least He's audible.

I think I broke something inside myself from riding in this morning.

Balls. I worked outside all day and totally didn't drink enough water. Two 24oz bottles, a HUGE powerade (I was sick of water), another bottle of water and one of the 24oz ones filled back up. And you know what's not refreshing? When you take a big ol' drink of your water after it's been baking in the sun for a while.
