Where's the best place to get a Powdercoat these days? I used to go to Bruce out in Blaine but that was years ago and he moved to Wisconsin, last I heard.

Anthony Peterson did a great job with my vintage Trek road bike. I think his site is ap-paints.com
I'd post pictures, but (and I feel stupid) I can't figure out how on these threads.

I'll add a vote for Anthony. Reasonably priced and great job. Here's my CrossCheck that he did: http://www.bigeclecticcat.com/files/DSCF0973-800.jpg

I'm going to use my old CC frame as my winter commuter and would love to change it to a fun color (silver or neon orange). Would I need to have him (or someone else) treat it with anything else to withstand the salt and debris of winter?

I've got the frameset boxed up in our office now but I'm going to send Anthony an email and see when he's available to paint it for me. He really does an amazing job from everything I've seen.

Lots of good shops around the TC area. I use whoever has the color I want done, since there is an upcharge if they have to specially order the color you want in. Most shops use NIC Prismatic Powders - which is the shit you want. You can do color research here. http://www.prismaticpowders.com/gallery/ A lot of guys have samples but usually their samples are a very small selection of what is possible. Last stuff I had done was at Kangas Enameling. Kurt does really good work. He explained everything throughly and even showed me some prototype cylinder heads he was powdercoating for some high performance manufacturer
