I'm know there are alot of tech people on here so I thought I'd ask this:

I have an old camcorder that has an A/V out and I want to capture my old tapes onto my computer. What is the best way of doing this? I looked into a MovieBox but I really don't want to spend alot of money on this. Any good, cheap options?

never used them, but if you only have a tape or two it would be a lot cheaper than outfitting your computer with a frame grabber.

Maybe someone on the board has one of those VHS/DVD-R combos and could do it for trade.

The Pinnacle stuff is pretty good. I've used a couple of different models at work. The software allows you to select a format and do basic editing without being overly complicated. Plan on spending at least $60 for a setup. ~$100 will get you something that will be more likely to work well.
