Hey bikelovers!

You might know Tim Springer; he envisioned the Midtown Greenway two decades ago and worked long and hard to turn that rail trench into what it is today. He was the executive director of the Midtown Greenway Coalition until retiring a year or two ago.

Tim is running for the Minneapolis City Council! This is the 9th ward, presently held by Gary Schiff who is stepping out to run for mayor instead. (Ward 9 includes the vicinity of Powderhorn Park, Phillips, and Corcoran neighborhoods)

I'm excited about the skills and ideas Tim would bring to the council, especially his goals related to bicycle infrastructure. Hopefully you bikelovers living in the 9th ward will check Tim out and throw him your support.

read about his platform and ideas:

check out his podcast:

Tim is looking for more people to attend the DLF caucus on Tuesday evening (4/16/13) to become a delegate and then vote at the convention in early May. If you'd be willing to help out, contact me directly and I'll get you all the info.
