A roided out bald security guard asked me if I would leave my bag at the counter of CHI LAKE liqorn store.

"I replied no, I'd take my business elsewhere." and turned to leave.

As I was leaving he told me "We don't need your fucking business. Get the fuck out of the store."

I was already outside by this point turned around and said "Excuse me?"

He charged me and screamed "Get the FUCK OUT OF THE STORE"

I unlocked my bike as he pulled out his cellphone and took a picture of me.

As I was riding away I reciprocated his cell phone picture. He turned and saw me through the glass and became ENRAGED.

He charged out of the store and attempted to grab me. I rode away cackling as he shouted "YOU BETTER FUCKING RUN!"

Next time you are at Chi/Lake stop in and politely refuse to take you bag off. And see if a bald steroid enraged security guard with a gun aggressively chases you out of the store and threatens you.

In fact, anyone want to arrange a flashmob of polite bag carrying customers?
Jeez, I walked in with my bag on just last night and had a 5-minute friendly chit-chat with the guy. Sorry you had such an unpleasant time, though; maybe you just got one a them faces? You know, like Kyra DeVore from Juno? Hell, I don't know.

The only time I was at Chi Lake, I wasn't asked to remove my bag either. Perhaps drop an email to the manager? This won't get fixed unless they know.

Oh, and I hit the liquor store across from the Wedge occasionally. I've *never* been asked to remove my bag in there.

The bald 'roided out security guard. Was there just last night with my bag on, he nodded and said "Hey." Never had a bit of an issue with him. I want to say his name's Glen or Greg or Gary, maybe? He's always been nice to me,; really, I got no beef at all with anyone at Chi-Lake. They even got the bike rack right by the door instead of like around back or something.

Perhaps after his confrontation with you he has had a change of attitude and is now nicer to cyclists and people carrying bags. Or perhaps he got his ass kicked by the owner of the establishment for being a dick.

MGM near whole foods in sw mpls. sometimes ill put up with a little of their crap, but last week was the breaking point. was told to leave my bag next to the exit, without anyone around look after it. as i nicely pointed this out to the manager he rudely said "well whatever, its policy" told them id just go shop somewhere else.

screw that place. ill never shop there again. whatever, they're over priced anyways.

Chi-Lake is hit-or-miss. I've forgotten to take my bag off and didn't realize it until after I'd paid and couldn't find it sitting by the door - nobody said anything about it. I've also been warned, "Hey! What do you think you're doing? You gotta leave your bag over here!" as I was taking my bag off, not ten feet inside the door.

But whatever, they've got like ten flavors of Four Loko so I'll still stop in there if it's on my way.
