I'd be down for a bike ride this month too. My new bike will finally be done tomorrow and can't wait to break it in!

21st to 24th or 28th to 30th, Tuesdays are best, so my buddy can also go, shooting for 17-18mph average, typically out into the wind, back with a tailwind. Another thought... it's been a while since I had a bison burger and a fine beer at Eichten's in Center City nr Taylor's Falls, but that would end up being close to a 7hr ride which is more than most can spare on a given day, just thinking

Weekdays never work for me, unfortunately. I'm stuck to Saturday and Sunday for pleasure riding. Hopefully someone unconstrained by a 9-5 schedule could join you.
This Saturday I'm likely riding to Rochester. I could probably be persuaded to ride next weekend if anyone's down.
Edit to make myself look less stoopid.

DangHeim wrote: Weekends never work for me You mean weekdays? Next weekend might work. I have some plans that may or may not happen. If they fall through I'll probably be down for an early AM ride on Saturday the 25th. If not, I'm tied up every weekend until November.

Yup. Weekdays never work for me. Neither does proofreading my own post.

I just had to bail on the Duluth ride because of a scheduling conflict so October 2 might work for me. If it's a century I'd have to start super early because I would need to be home by early afternoon. I'd also be open to a shorter, faster ride- maybe a metric century? Let me know if anyone is interested. If so, I'll probably start a separate thread.

Forgive the circumspection...I'd be interested in a 100+ mile ride , leaving 9am onwards, any day between 9/27 and 10/4, after which I'm leaving the country indefinitely.
