Hey All,
Just drove past Franklin and Nicollet and saw what looked to be a very inebriated homeless dude walking a powder blue Bianchi San Jose. I know it's not right to make assumptions, but this was clearly not his bike. As I was at the light I noticed him asking people if they wanted to buy it.

I would've stopped but had to get to to work. I wouldn't be surprised if you could find him at that starbucks.

good luck!

if it's the same guy and bike from july '10, perhaps his asking price is too high?

I made the post from October 10th and this thread appears to be about the same bike. The thread from July with a picture is not the bike that I saw. Frame color is the same, but frame size, wheels, seat, bars were all different - mostly stock except for seat and pedals.

I'm surprised no one is looking for it, based on how it was set up it looked liked someone's primary mode of transportation. Beyond it being a nice bike, my spidey senses started tingling when I saw the clipless pedals and the fact that he was walking the bike to the bus - it was a beautiful afternoon and he wasn't riding the bike.

I have since seen him riding the bike in tennis shoes, maybe I should see if he wants to buy some pedals.

Unless that was a popular color, I saw the same one in Uptown, near either CVS or Rainbow. Struck me because of those pedals, but locked with a small cable combination lock on the top of the frame.

It was. I have one and I know several other people that do as well.
