I've been watching a lot of Criminal Minds. The show is really good but I feel like I am becoming slightly deranged from watching it, the cases are always so sick.

I remember thinking the same thing, although I'm going to have to watch it again because, well, I went to bed. This weekend I watched two of what I think are some of the greatest movies I've ever seen. The Wind That Shakes the Barley (Made me cry twice, such a powerful movie) and Ned Kelly Anybody else have any historical films like these they recommend?

We blasted through about half of the first season of Heros this weekend. Should finish the series by Christmas.

Thanks Sven, I was a bit disheartened when I saw this chart yesterday. Knew it must have reflected some change in the show itself. That was around the time the writers went on strike, right?

Its totally worth it to watch Season 1 tho.
I'm just sensitive to these things, I'm looking at you "6 Feet Under"!

The chart's from Wikipedia. "Weeds" follows the pattern, too.

omgmrj wrote: The chart's from Wikipedia. "Weeds" follows the pattern, too. I just checked LOST too and it followed this trend. I wonder if people have less incentive to watch shows that are further into the series if they haven't watched the first seasons. Especially shows as complicated as Heroes and LOST. Heroes does begin to suck ass though. When you finish the first seasons of Heroes STOP and watch the first two seasons of Misfits.

The Wind that Shakes the Barley was amazing! I put off watching it for a while but it blew me away, too. (available on Netflix streaming, btw) The Escapist is one of the greatest prison break movies I've ever seen. Well filmed with good actors. Brian Cox stars--amazing actor. The Parking Lot Movie: interesting documentary of the folks who work and have worked at a parking lot in Virginia. (more interesting than it sounds0 Winnebago Man: documentary of the "angriest man in the world". This guy is a fascinating character.
