Aluminum fat bikes provide too harsh of a ride.

Im just boggled sometimes that people spend the time to "completely restore" crappy 90's bmx bikes. Arnt they disposable?

It looks like this bike is set-up about as nice as one could set up a Trek 700 Multitrack. Nonetheless, $1000? ...and I highly doubt that County Cycles charged 2700 for this three years ago. Price dropped like a rock. Quote: Trek Bike 700 Multitrack - $450 (Andover) Why the hell would you put 27" wheels on it? Is that a mistake in the post? IGH + Dynamo front hub is nice, but seatpost rack? WTF?

Quote: Vintage Schwinn Bike - Original Feet, Good Condition - $75 (St Paul Merriam Park)
Vintage men's Schwinn bike with original feet, seat, etc. Good condition, tires trued, very rideable. Friend (now out of country) purchased it a year ago for $ 150 and used it as his prime commuting bike - U of M, Dinkytown, Uptown, etc. Since we were storing it for him and are now moving, he said for us to go ahead and Craig's List it. Not sure of dimensions, however, I'm 5'4" and have ridden it fine. Seat is adjusted for someone 6'1" but can be sat higher. At police bike auction (Richfield/Mninneapolis) hipster-looking Schwinn bikes like these usually go from $125-$200. Yours for $75. Needs to be picked up this weekend. Thanks. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/bik/2980685239.htmlI usually guage how much something is worth by how much the cops sell it for at auction also... peas in a pod, we are... Not sure what these "original feet" are or how you true a tire though...

I'm calling BS on the original feet. Bikes are changing their feet all the time and it's really difficult to tell originals from replacements, especially when the owner is out of the country and not paying close attention.

The seller, at 5'4", obviously has freakishly long legs, while the original owner, at 6'1" has freakishly short legs.

Maybe that is why it comes with new feet? You need them to adjust your body to the bike.

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bik/2971123755.htmlSo, uh... what's going on with the rear derailleur here? Is there a good reason for this design?
