ok, so i decided that im going to get a pugsley and probably can't afford a new one, but im looking for one in good condition. I saw a craigslist ad for one for 1350, no clue if its a biklove member.
the monocog has upgraded Avid BB7 disc breaks in perfect condition, raceface 70mm stem, origin 8 mountain risers, 19t surly rear cog, and an awesome grey/blue theme. asking for $700. was bought new for $550 and the upgrades were about 250 maybe a bit more. bike is in great condition i'll get some photos up shortly.

did you upgrade the rear hub? because that's what really needs upgrading on this bike.

i have not, but i have put a lot of money into it. base price was $550 plus tax and then ad $180 for the BB7's alone and 700 is a sweet deal.

Please don't take this the wrong way. Take it literally.
The price is too high.

well, what would you think is a good price. Paid 600 for it new with tax, $180 for the BB7's, $30 for the cog, $40 for the stem, and $30 for the bars on it. It's been kept inside every single day.
in anycase, im willing to go lower to $625, I need to sell these things if i want to buy that pugsley.

The only way you're going to sell it is if someone is looking to buy a brand new Monocog and is looking for a discount.
I'll be blunt. The parts don't mean that much. Put it back to its original, keep the parts for your next build, or save your money. It seldom works out to sell an old bike at less than half price to buy a new bike.

I bought that model bike from CL about a month ago:
No brakes No cranks No chain
Upgrades: King headset (bling!) Thomson seat post (blang!) Carbon Bonty stem (meh)
For $250
Dude threw in a Bonty carbon fork for $40.
That said - I have no idea what your bike will sell for. But I know a deal when I see one!
You don't want to hear this, but if someone offers you $500, take it.
(I added bb7 brakes and speed dial 7 levers to mine for $130 (new). $180 is definitely high and you won't get it back)

They got pretty good reviews on here. Other than REI having pugs 15% off it doesn't seem like a bad idea. If a shop really wants your money, they should price match.
